The new film about the Bletterbach gorge “On the trail of prehistoric reptiles. The Geoparc Bletterbach” has been recently presented in the Museum of Natural Sciences in Bozen.

The documentary film does not only speak about the geological path through the gorge. “A film will never be able to capture the adventure of an excursion through the Bletterbach”, says the director Friedrich Moser. The means of the new film is above all to show the origin of the various geological strata of the Bletterbach gorge in an interesting and comprehensible way. With the aid of Evelyn Kustatscher and Benno Baumgarten from the Museum of Natural Sciences in Bozen it was possible to include also aspects which normally only scientists can get an insight into. The film, produced on behalf of the European Union, the Province of Bozen, the village Aldein and the RAI Sender Bozen will be shown regularly in the Visitor Centre where it will be on sale soon.
